So this is the standard for my design, Sleepy Fox. As you may have anticipated, you can use any yarn and color you want. I use the “Tilda” thread from Svarta fåret and the needle size 2.5. It is a thin thread and, when used with the mentioned needle, the fox will be about 17 centimeters in height (ears included). The Amigurumi Fox stuffing is being made gradually – as soon as you start, you will probably know when and where to use it.
How you stuff your fox (or other amigurumi) usually has a big impact on the outcome. Try to pay attention to each part of the body while you fill it. For the head of this special fox, I try to make the face wider than it is tall, and so on. In other words: the shape of the filling is crucial to the final result. If you are an absolute beginner and have difficulties – let me know by leaving a comment and I will try to guide you!
