Here is my version of the amigurumi octopus. The first to invent the octopus with these curly mesh tentacles was really a genius. In my pattern, the tentacles are knitted on the body, so it is safer for babies. I also didn’t use the safety eyes. Instead, the eyes can be processed or skipped.

materials:
DK cotton (8 layers) – I used Novita Freesia (100% cotton; 50 g / 134 m)
contrast color for ruffles (same weight)
crochet hook 2.5 mm
polyester putty
black thread to sew the eyes
